I want to permanently delete my Instagram account, but I’d prefer to do it directly through the app rather than a web browser. Can someone guide me through the steps?

To delete your Instagram account via the app:
  • Go to your profile > Tap the 3 lines > Settings > Help > Help Center.
  • Search for "Delete Account" and select it.
  • Tap the link to delete your account (opens in browser).
  • Log in, select a reason, and confirm by entering your password.
  • Tap Permanently delete account.
Your account is deleted after 30 days.

To delete your Instagram account through the app, go to Settings > Accounts Center > Personal Details > Account Ownership and Control > Deactivation or Deletion, select your account, choose Delete Account, and follow the steps.

To delete your Instagram account via the app, follow these structured steps:
  1. Open Settings: Tap your profile icon, then the three lines (≡) in the top right.
  2. Access Accounts Center: Go to Settings and privacy > Accounts Center.
  3. Find Deletion: Select Personal details > Account ownership and control > Deactivation or deletion.
  4. Confirm: Choose your account, select Delete account, provide a reason, and enter your password to finalize.
Your account will be hidden immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days.

To delete your Instagram account through the app, open Instagram, go to Profile → Menu → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Select a reason, enter your password, and confirm. Your account and all content will be permanently removed. Instagram may delay deletion for a short period, allowing account recovery if needed.

Open the Instagram app, go to Profile → Menu → Settings → Account → Delete Account, choose a reason, enter your password, and confirm. Your account, photos, videos, and data will be permanently deleted, with a short grace period for recovery if you change your mind.

To delete your Instagram account via the app, access Settings → Account → Delete Account, select a deletion reason, enter your password, and confirm. This permanently removes your profile, posts, and messages, although Instagram may keep your data temporarily in case you want to recover it.

On Instagram, navigate to Profile → Menu → Settings → Account → Delete Account, choose why you’re leaving, type your password, and confirm deletion. Your account and all content will be permanently erased, with Instagram allowing a short period for reversal before complete removal.

Deleting your Instagram account through the app involves going to Settings → Account → Delete Account, selecting a reason, entering your password, and confirming. All posts, stories, and messages will be permanently removed, though Instagram may keep a temporary recovery window before final deletion.
