How to take off restricted mode on YouTube in 2025?

To turn off YouTube's Restricted Mode, navigate to your profile icon on the top right. From the dropdown menu, select "Restricted Mode" and then click the "Turn off Restricted Mode" toggle. On mobile, the option is in Settings, under "General." If it's locked, an administrator (like a parent or school) may have enabled it.
