Looking for fun TikTok alternatives

I’ve been spending a lot of time on TikTok lately, but I’m kinda bored of it and want to try something new. Does anyone know any good TikTok alternatives that are actually fun and not full of ads? I’d love apps where I can watch short videos, follow creators, or even post my own stuff. Any recommendations?😬

Here are some fun TikTok alternatives you can try:
  1. Instagram Reels – Short videos with filters, music, and effects.
  2. YouTube Shorts – Great for quick, creative clips with a huge audience.
  3. Snapchat Spotlight – Fun, casual videos with AR filters.
  4. Triller – Music-focused short videos similar to TikTok.
  5. Clash / Byte – Created by a former Vine co-founder; great for creative loops.
  6. Likee – Popular in Asia, offers effects, music, and challenges.
  7. Dubsmash – Lip-sync and dance videos (great for beginners).
All let you create and share short, entertaining videos with built-in editing tools.

If you want TikTok alternatives, I’d try Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Triller, Dubsmash, or Likee—Reels and Shorts are my personal favorites.

For a wider audience, entertaining TikTok substitutes include YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. Check out Triller for content that focuses on music. Try Likee or Funimate, which provide creative video tools, if you're looking for unique editing and effects.

Same TikTok is a time machine that I cannot focus on.😵‍💫 YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels will be a good first try in case you want short videos and real creators and fewer advertisements that make you lose your soul. Shorts is much more discoverable over longer-term growth (and real monetization routes in case you need $$$ later). Reels works in case you already spend time on Instagram you keep your audience and receive Reels momentum. Pro tip: post the same short on both but customize the first 1–2 seconds for each app’s audience. 🎯

Fun TikTok alternatives include Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Triller, Dubsmash, and Likee. These platforms offer short-form videos, creative effects, and social features for sharing entertaining, viral content.
