What does an ethernet cable look like?

I’ve heard about ethernet cables but I’m not sure how to identify one physically. I want to connect my device using a wired connection. Can someone describe what does an ethernet cable look like and how to recognize it?

It looks like a slightly thick phone cable with a little clear plastic clip at the end that clicks into your device - similar to an old landline phone plug but a bit wider. Once you see that little clip & the rectangular connector, you'll know exactly what it is.
