Having Trouble Connecting Stylus How to Pair Pen with Lenovo Yoga?

I have recently purchased a stylus to my device but it does not appear to connect. I searched how to pair pen with lenovo yoga and some people say that it connects via Bluetooth and some people claim that it is connected automatically. I do not want to continue clicking the buttons in random fashion. What should be the proper pairing process?

Turn on Bluetooth on Lenovo Yoga. If the pen uses a battery, insert or charge it. Press and hold the pen’s top button until the LED blinks. Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Add device, select pen, and pair. Restart it or update drivers if it doesn’t appear.
