Yes, an inaccessible OST file can be converted to PST without Outlook, but only when the OST file is still readable by the converter. I faced this once with an old OST file that was no longer connected with Exchange. Outlook could not open it, so manual options were not useful. For this case, WholeClear OST to PST Converter is worth checking. It works without Outlook installation and Exchange Server connection. It can scan the OST file, show mailbox folders in tree view, and export emails, contacts, calendars, notes, tasks, journals, and attachments into PST. It also allows selected folder conversion, so unnecessary items can be skipped. Keep a backup copy of the OST file before trying any conversion.
