How do I enable two-factor authentication on Instagram?

Go to Instagram settings, tap Security, select Two-Factor Authentication, choose a method, enter the code, and enable 2FA.

  • Open Instagram Settings → Go to your profile settings.
  • Tap on "Security" → Find the security option.
  • Select "Two-Factor Auth" → Choose the authentication method.
  • Enter the verification code → Verify using SMS or app.
  • Enable & SaveSettings→ Your 2FA is now active.

You can enable 2FA on Instagram by clicking the menu (☰) icon to reach Settings and privacy followed by Accounts Center > Password and security > Two-factor Authentication. Start by choosing your account after that select Authenticator app SMS or WhatsApp authentication followed by step-by-step instructions, provide the OTP and finish the process.
