How do I turn off Google AI?

I’m trying to turn off Google AI on my apps and browser. What’s the easiest way to disable AI features like search summaries or assistant suggestions, and is it completely possible to turn off Google AI?

Users can disable Google AI features by accessing their Google Account settings where they need to navigate to Data & Privacy to turn off Web & App Activity and Personalized Search and Ad Personalization options. Users can disable AI writing suggestions through Gmail and they can disable Smart features in Google Assistant settings to minimize their AI interactions.

You can’t fully turn off Google AI, but you can limit it by disabling AI Overviews in Search Labs, avoiding Gemini, and turning off Web & App Activity in your Google Account.
