How to take a screenshot on iPad:​

If your iPad has a Home button:

• Press the Top button and Home button at the same time.

If it doesn’t have a Home button:

• Press the Top button and Volume Up button at the same time.

You’ll see a flash. The screenshot shows up in the corner and saves to your Photos.

To easily take a screen capture on an iPad, press the Top button and the Volume Up button at the same time (or the Home and Top button if your iPad has a Home button). The screen will flash, and the screenshot will appear in the lower-left corner—tap it to edit or swipe it away to save it automatically in the Photos app under Screenshots.
