How does the Internet work on a device?

I'm curious to know how the internet works on a device. Can anyone tell me about this?
The Internet seems like magic sometimes, but after deciphering its processes, I began to appreciate it more.

I remember how excited I was and eager to explore when I connected my device to Wi-Fi, yet I was unaware of what was happening behind the scenes.

Here, I’m going to present a short overview of my own experience of knowing how the Internet works on devices.

1. Connecting to the Network: When I turn on Wi-Fi on my device, it gets connected to the router immediately. Eventually, the router will send a signal to my internet service provider, and they will grant me access to internet connectivity.

2. Requesting a Website: After opening my browser, I entered a website name, for example, (www.google.com). My device sends a request to the domain name system, which will transfer the website name to an IP address (e.g., 192.1.00.168) to locate a suitable server.

3. Gathering Data From Multiple Servers: My requests will float between the numerous network hubs to reach the hosting website. Finally, the server processes the request and sends back the information on my device screen into a small data.

These data travel back through networks to resemble the web pages, photos, and videos that I have requested. Interestingly, all this process happens in a millisecond, which makes it feel instant.

Thus, after experiencing this wonderful technology, it has become my day-to-day life necessities that keep me connected to the world.
