How to clean a keyboard

My keyboard has become dirty and some keys feel sticky. I want to clean a keyboard safely without damaging it. What tools or methods should I use to clean a keyboard properly?

Safe cleaning of a keyboard:

• Unplug it first
• Shake off loose rocks.
• Use the compressed air to blow dust between the keys.
• Clean up surfaces using a microfiber towel that is slightly slicked with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
• In case of sticky keys, a cotton swab wet with alcohol will be used to clean the edges.
