How To Clean Iphone Charging Port?

Hey Guys! I'm experiencing intermittent charging issues with my iPhone. Would anyone be able to suggest a method for cleaning my iPhone's charging port and safely removing dust?
 
Before you begin to clean your iPhone charging port, close your iPhone. To take off dust and dirt, use a toothpick or a powdery brush or a compressed air and pass it slightly. Do not use metal objects or liquid materials. Check out the edges of the port for cleaning around it to ensure that it is connected properly. Maintaining the regular will prevent charging issues.
