How to Connect Logitech Keyboard to PC or Laptop the Right Way?

I’m having trouble figuring out how to connect logitech keyboard using Bluetooth or the USB receiver. Sometimes it pairs, sometimes it doesn’t. What’s the correct setup process, and do I need specific Logitech software to make it work smoothly?

If it's a Bluetooth Logitech keyboard, the cleanest method is to reset the pairing first. Hold the Bluetooth button for a few seconds until it blinks fast, then search for it on your PC. For the USB receiver version, make sure you're using either the Unifying or Bolt receiver depending on the model. Installing Logitech Options+ helps a LOT mine stopped randomly disconnecting after that.

Bro I swear Logitech keyboards have moods.
One day they connect instantly, next day they're like “new phone who dis?”
Anyway, try plugging the receiver into a front USB port, not the back. For some reason that fixed all my drops. And yeah, Options+ isn’t mandatory but it helps with stability big time.

You don’t need the Logitech software at all. People keep saying “install Options+,” but I run mine on a fresh Windows install with NO software and it connects flawlessly with the Bolt receiver.
If your keyboard isn’t pairing, it’s usually Windows Bluetooth being trash, not Logitech. Try removing ALL previous Bluetooth entries and pair again.
