When EML files are corrupt, they can be frustrating because they might not open correctly. One easy thing you can do is try to open the EML file in a few different email programs, like Thunderbird and Windows Mail. Some programs are better at reading files than others, which is why this is the case. You might also try changing the file extension and downloading it again if it became corrupted while doing conversion. But these methods don't always work. In these cases, it's usually best to use a tool that is safe. I found out that GainTools EML Converter is an excellent approach to fix corrupted EML files. It can export more than one file at a time into PST, MBOX or MSG formats without losing any attachments.
