How to deactivate Facebook account?

First Snapchat, then Instagram, and now Facebook - I am getting annoyed with modern social media. If anyone know how to deactivate Facebook account permanently, kindly share the steps.

To deactivate your account, go to the Settings & Privacy page, choose Settings and click through Accounts Center, Personal Details, Account Ownership and Control and look for Deactivation or Deletion. Choose your account and Deactivate Account and go through the next steps. Even though your profile will be hidden, you can log in at any time to show it again.

To deactivate your Facebook account, go to the Settings & Privacy section in your Facebook app or website. Click on Settings, then select Accounts Center. From there, choose Personal details and then Account ownership and control. Tap on Deactivation or deletion, select your Facebook account, and choose Deactivate account. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm. Deactivation is temporary—your profile will be hidden, but you can reactivate it anytime by logging in again.
