How to delete Snapchat story permanently?

I have downloaded the Snapchat few days back only and I on my learning stage. I have posted the story mistakenly now not able to find how to delete Snapchat story. Do you know the process?

To delete a Snapchat story permanently, open Snapchat, tap your profile icon, go to "My Story," and select the story you want to delete. Tap the three dots, choose "Delete," and confirm. The story will be removed immediately and won’t be visible to anyone. Repeat for multiple snaps.
