If you want to edit your name on Facebook by a web browser then first log in to your account. In the top right, click your profile picture and then select ‘Settings & privacy,’ then ‘Settings.’ Next, click on “See more in Account Center” and your profile. Under 'Name' click, in the box 'First Name,' enter your (first, middle, last name), then click 'Review Change'. Last, select your desired name order and click on Save Changes.
On the Facebook mobile app, tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines), then "Settings & privacy" and "Settings". Choose See more in Account Center, then your profile, then Name. Enter your new name and tap “Review Change”, choose the order and “Save Changes”. Namely, Facebook only allows a name change every 60 days. Make sure your new name complies with those of Facebook and doesn't have unusual, capitalization or use of symbols or terms that are offensive.
