I am getting fed up with errors on YouTube, can someone please help me to get rid of this one "How to fix: Sorry, there was an error licensing video YouTube".

Corrupted cache or cookies: Your browser's stored data might be causing playback issues—in which case, clearing cache and cookies can help. Slow or unstable internet connection: If your connection is weak, videos may buffer or play in low/disruptive quality.

This YouTube mistake typically occurs because of the problems with the browser, application, or the Internet. To troubleshoot it, unlike the above, clear your browser/app cache, update youtube app or browser, turn off VPN/Proxy, or change browser. Reinstalling can help a lot, in case of using the app. Reboot and check your internet connection also.

YouTube's "Error licensing video" frequently has to do with verifying the rights of your device. To correct it:
  • Disable Ad Blockers: Since ad-blockers and YouTube extensions often obstruct video licensing checks, turn them off.
  • Clear Cache & Cookies: To get rid of corrupted data, clear the cache and cookies in your browser or the YouTube app.
  • Disable VPN/Proxy: As these can result in regional conflicts with video licensing rights, turn off any VPN or proxy.
  • Update App/Browser: Make sure the most recent version of your web browser or YouTube app is installed.
  • Restart the app or browser: log out of your Google or YouTube account, and then sign back in.
