How to make Instagram private

Can anyone tell me how I can make my Instagram private?

From your profile choose the menu and select the "Settings" where you can select "Privacy." Toggle on "Private Account."

The private account setting ensures that your posts along with your Stories and profile data can be accessed by your approved followers for increased privacy.

Quick steps to make Instagram private:

1. Open Instagram → Profile → ☰ Menu → Settings & privacy.
2. Tap Account privacy → toggle Private account on.

Only approved followers can now see your posts.
