Here is the method that you have to have to know how you can pause location on Find My iPhone without notifying others.

1: Turn Off Share My Location: Go to Settings > Tap your name > Find My. Click off Share My Location.
2: Use Another Apple Device: Sign in to another Apple device with your Apple ID
3: Turn On Airplane Mode: Slide and on airplane mode and last
