I once deleted my important chats with my colleagues, but thankfully my Google Drive saved me! Let me share the recovery methods with you, that help me out at that stressful moment.
Restore Your Backup: If you have Google Drive (android) or iCloud (iPhone) backup enabled, then uninstall the WhatsApp application and reinstall it. After opening the application, tap on restore data carefully.
Try Local Backup (For Android Only): Navigate to My Files on your device>> WhatsApp>> Database, and rename the latest backup file available there. After that, again uninstall and reinstall the WhatsApp.
Use Third-Party Tools: In case, you haven’t enabled any backup on your device, try using third-party tools, such as Dr.Fone or iMobie PhoneRescue.
Ask the Sender: If all tactics fail, then ask the message sender (the person you were chatting with) to resend your important messages once again.
In essence, trying these techniques will surely help you out, but for future convenience don’t forget to enable the automatic backup of your WhatsApp chats just like I did. Because that’s the only way you can access your chats anywhere on any device.
