How To Replace Airtag Battery?

Can anyone explain how to replace the battery in an AirTag? Mine seems to be running low, and I’m not sure how to open it up or what kind of battery I need. Any tips or instructions would be super helpful!

To replace an AirTag battery, press and rotate the stainless steel back cover counterclockwise until it pops off. Remove the old battery and insert a new CR2032 lithium coin cell (positive side up). Then, align the cover and twist it clockwise until it clicks into place.

To replace an AirTag battery:

1. Press and twist the stainless steel cover counterclockwise to open.
2. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
3. Insert a new CR2032 battery (+ side up) — you’ll hear a chime.
4. Reattach and twist the cover clockwise to lock it.

To replace an AirTag battery:

1. Press and twist the stainless steel back cover counterclockwise until it pops off.

3. Insert a new CR2032 battery, positive (+) side up.
4. Align the cover and twist it clockwise until it locks.

To change the battery in an AirTag, press and turn the stainless steel back cover in the counterclockwise direction until it clips off. Unscrew the old battery and place in a new CR2032 coin cell (battery) lithium cell (with the positive side up). Next, fit the cover but twist it in clockwise direction until it clicks in.
