How to screenshot on Chromebook instantly?

To take a screenshot on a Chromebook instantly, press Ctrl + Show Windows (the rectangle key with two lines). This captures the entire screen. For a partial screenshot, press Ctrl + Shift + Show Windows, then drag to select the area you want to capture.

On a Chromebook, you can quickly take a screenshot by pressing the Ctrl + Show Windows key (the key that has a rectangle, and two lines). The screen shot will automatically save itself in the Downloads folder.

To capture a partial screen, press the Show Windows key + Ctrl + Shift and then choose the region.

Full screen: Ctrl + Show windows key (two lines rectangle).
Partial/area: Ctrl + Shift + Show windows, and then drag the area.
External keyboard: Ctlrand F5, Tablet mode: Power + Volume down.
Screenshots are stored in Downloads and a notification displays which can be clicked on to open.

Full screen: Ctrl + ⎘ (the key with a rectangle + two lines - where F5 typically is).
Partial / region: Ctrl + Shift + ⎘, and then click and drag to select.

The screenshots come in the form of a notification and are stored in Files > Downloads.
(On tablet-style Chromebooks, it is also possible to use Power + Volume Down.)

Pressed on the Show windows key (in the upper row, the two-line rectangle):
