How to share someone else's story on Instagram profile?

I want to share someone else's story on my Instagram profile to highlight their content with my followers.

Sure! To share someone else’s story on your Instagram profile:

1. They must mention/tag you in their story.
2. You’ll then see “Add to Your Story” in your DMs.
3. Tap it, customize if needed, and post!

If they didn’t tag you, kindly ask them to do so or share their content as a repost with credit using a screenshot or third-party app like Repost.

Sharing someone else’s Instagram Story on your own profile is simple.

1. From their Story, select the Send to button (the paper airplane).
2. Select the option to add the content as your story (as long as it is active).
3. Type a message or add stickers and hit the "Your Story" button when you're done.

You can only use this feature if their account settings are public or they’ve allowed you to reshare.

If tagged in their story: Tap Add to your story → customize → Share.
If not tagged: You cannot repost directly; use DM share or repost apps.

The only way you can share the story of another person is when they have mentioned or tagged you in the story. Then you will have an option of Add to your story in your DMs. Unless they have tagged you, they will have to request them to tag you or provide them with the story so that they can repost it by hand using e AirDroid or ShareIt to transmit photos wirelessly.
The most expeditious and secure is to use USB cable.
