How to Signout From Facebook?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to signout from facebook on my phone and laptop. I’m using Facebook but can’t locate the logout option easily. Can someone explain the steps to signout from facebook properly?

To log out of your Facebook account, you need to have the app or website page opened, then tap/click on your profile picture or the three, line menu icon at the top right hand corner, scroll down and tap/click Log Out or Log Out of all sessions if you are on the web, which will sign you out of your account on that device.

To make your privacy settings stronger on Facebook, open the app and go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Privacy Checkup. There, you can control who can see your posts, friends list, phone number, and personal information. Set your future posts to “Friends” instead of “Public,” review past posts, and limit who can send you friend requests. You can also turn off location sharing and timeline tagging under the privacy settings. Regularly checking these settings helps keep your account more secure and private.

To sign out from Facebook, open the app or website and tap your profile picture or the three-line menu. Scroll down and select Log Out. On desktop, click your profile picture in the top right corner and choose Log Out from the dropdown menu. This safely signs you out of your account on that device.
