I switched to iPhone from Android few hours ago (Courtesy of Dhruv 😻), and I want to transfer contacts to my new iPhone. How to do?

Transfer Contacts from Android to iPhone:

Option 1: Move to iOS
  • Install Move to iOS on Android.
  • During iPhone setup, choose Move Data from Android.
  • Follow prompts to transfer contacts.

Option 2: Google Sync
  • Sync contacts to your Google account on Android.
  • On iPhone: Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Google → Turn on Contacts.

There isn’t a way to transfer contacts directly from Android to iPhone. A simple solution is to use Cisdem ContactsMate. With this contacts management tool, you can export your Android contacts as a CSV file and then import them into iCloud (iPhone).
ContactsMate is available for both Mac and Windows computer. It supports contacts from CSV, vCard, iCloud, Google, Exchange, and more.

Steps to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone:
  1. Export contacts from Android as CSV.
  2. Open ContactsMate. Click Add Account. Sign in with your iCloud account.
  3. Import the CSV file.
  4. Sync iCloud contacts to your iPhone.

While there are also some manual methods can do this, ContactsMate is much faster and more reliable. What's more, it can clean up duplicate contacts before transferring.
