How to unblock someone on Instagram in 2025?

Hello everyone, I have accidentally blocked my friend on Instagram. Can someone tell me the process how to unblock his account?

Open Instagram, go to your profile, and tap Settings. Select Blocking, then Blocked Accounts. Find the person and tap Unblock next to their name to confirm. That's it

To unblock someone on Instagram in 2025, go to your profile, tap the menu, and select “Settings.” Navigate to “Privacy” → “Blocked Accounts.” Find the person you want to unblock from the list, tap their name, and select “Unblock.” They can now view your profile, send messages, and interact as before without restrictions.

Open Instagram, go to your profile → menu (three lines) → Settings → Privacy → Blocked Accounts, find the person and tap Unblock, then confirm.
Or open the person’s profile (search their username) and tap Unblock there. After unblocking they can follow you again and previous chats/follow status may not be restored automatically.
