Have you ever used Intel Driver & Support Assistant? Want to know what automatic driver updates really do and what they recommend or something more intrusive? Deciding manually to have it installed but afraid it uses magic and breaks stuff, or sends me spam updates.

True, I have used Intel driver and support assistant. It is relatively harmless that it only processes an Intel hardware scan and offers to update the most recent drivers. It takes only manual consent to install anything. It will not corrupt your system or spam you; it is simply an easy method to have Intel drivers updated.
