Is it Worth Upgrading to a Cat 8 Ethernet Cable for Home Use?

I’m looking to rewire my home office to get the most out of my gigabit internet connection and reduce local latency. While Cat 6 seems standard, I’m seeing advertisements for a cat 8 ethernet cable that claims much higher speeds and better shielding, and I want to know if that extra bandwidth actually provides any real-world benefit for gaming and file transfers on a residential network.
