My Lenovo webcam is blocked how do I properly turn off the privacy shutter?

I recently noticed my camera wasn’t working during a Google Meet call, and it turns out the small physical slider near the webcam was covering it. I’m confused about how to turn off lenovo privacy shutter because sliding it doesn’t seem to fully fix the issue. Do I just move the physical switch, or is there also a software setting somewhere in Lenovo Vantage or Windows camera permissions? The camera light doesn’t turn on either. If someone can clarify how this shutter works and what to check if the webcam still doesn’t detect, that would help.

Slide the physical privacy shutter switch next to your webcam lens until it uncovers the camera (usually a small tab you move left/right). If video is still blocked, check Camera settings → Privacy → Camera access and make sure it’s turned on.
