When your iPhone says “Your call has been forwarded to voicemail,” it means the person you're trying to call is not answering, and the call is being automatically redirected to their voicemail inbox. This can happen when:

• Their phone is off or out of coverage
• They declined the call
• Do Not Disturb is turned on
• Their phone is busy with another call
• They’ve set up call forwarding to voicemail

You can leave a voice message, and they’ll receive it once they check their voicemail.
