I got a notification that says shared with you on TikTok, and I’m a bit confused. Does this mean someone sent me a video directly or is it part of some new feature? I want to make sure I understand how sharing works.

On TikTok, “Shared With You” refers to content that other users have sent directly to you via messages or social features. It allows you to easily find videos friends or contacts have recommended, creating a personal feed of shared content without needing to search for it manually.
