What is the process of Snapchat streak restoration?

Due to a busy schedule, I forgot to send a snap to my friend and it ended our Snapchat streak. I read somewhere that a broken streak can be restored. Can anyone help me to know what the restoration process is?

It hurts too much if the streak breaks when you are maintaining a long Snapchat streak with someone else. Don't worry @Himanshu Mehra, check out the restoration process below.

1. Simply click on the red colour "RESTORE" button beside the name of the person on the Snapchat chats.
2. There are a few restorations that will be available on each Snapchat account.
3. If you have Snapchat+, then you can avail of more restoration of your streak could be possible.

To restore a lost Snapchat streak, open the app and go to Settings > Support > I Need Help > Snapstreaks. Tap on “Let us know” and choose “My Snapstreaks disappeared.” Fill out the form with details like your username, friend’s username, and when the streak ended. Snapchat will review and may restore the streak if eligible.
