I have been attempting to collect only the audio of a reel and search Instagram to MP3, yet the majority of such websites appear dubious. Has anyone found a reliable method to convert Instagram to MP3 without risking malware? I personally just need the audio so that I can listen to it but I do not need to compromise the security of my device.

The gold standard is yt-dlp. It’s an open-source command-line tool. It’s clean, has no ads, and supports Instagram. It requires a tiny bit of technical setup, but it’s the only way to be 100% sure you aren't downloading junk.
