Why are there small horizontal lines on monitor?

I’m suddenly seeing small horizontal lines on monitor screen. They come and go sometimes. Is this a display issue or something serious?

Yeah I’ve seen that before, it’s usually a display or cable issue like a loose HDMI or aging panel, not super serious yet but worth checking cables or updating drivers first.
