Why can't I go live on Instagram app?

Here are the reasons you may not be able to go live on Instagram:

If an account is new or has violated rules, it might not be able to use all the live features.

Version of the App: Updating Instagram often will make it possible for you to use live streaming.

Bad internet connection or technical difficulties with your device might stop you from broadcasting.

There are times when Instagram releases live features gradually to selected regions.

To broadcast live, you need to be at least 13 years old (in some places, it’s even older).

If you're unable to go live on Instagram, several factors might be responsible:
  • Outdated App: Ensure your Instagram app is updated to the latest version.
  • Poor Internet Connection: A stable internet connection is essential for live streaming.
  • Camera/Microphone Access: Verify that Instagram has permission to access your device's camera and microphone.
  • Account Restrictions: Violations of Instagram's community guidelines can lead to temporary feature restrictions.
  • Device Compatibility: Older devices may not support newer Instagram features like Live.
