Whenever I open Discord, I sometimes get the message “an error occurred loading en-us.” I already tried restarting the app, but the issue keeps coming back. Does anyone know the best fix for this error?

I've seen that error before and it's usually related to the language settings or cache issues. You could try clearing the Discord cache, which might help resolve the problem. Also, ensure that your language settings are set to English (US) and that your system's locale is set correctly. If the issue persists, you might want to try reinstalling Discord or checking for any updates, as sometimes a fresh install can fix these kinds of glitches. It's also worth checking the Discord status page to see if there are any known issues with the servers that could be causing the error.

The error "loading en-us" in Discord arises due to corrupted cache, network problems, or Discord server errors. Solutions include restarting the program, clearing the cache, updating the app, or reinstalling Discord.

When you see the message “an error occurred loading en-us”, it typically indicates that the Discord app is unable to load the English language files correctly. That may be due to faulty cache files, update failures, network connectivity, or temporary server problems. Try restarting Discord, clearing the cache, checking your connection, or reinstalling the app to fix the issue.

If you see "an error occurred loading en-us" from Discord then this generally indicates one of the app's English language files didn't load, or there's some corrupted cache files. In most instances it's due to: Damaged cache files on your device Not having received the full Discord app update Missing app files Problems with your internet connection Issues with your Windows firewall/Antivirus software A short term server problem. then simply closing the app completely, deleting the cache folders, restarting the device and if need be re-installing the app will get the language files to load as intended.
