I’ve noticed faint marks on my Surface Pro screen burn after showing static images. Could this become permanent? Has anyone experienced Surface Pro screen burn, and what are ways to prevent or fix it without causing damage?
Image retention and not permanent burn-in is usually what appears as screen burn on a Microsoft Surface Pro after extensive use. It occurs when still images remain too many and temporary pixel memory or heat accumulation develop. It often fades after rest. To prevent it, reduce brightness, do not have the screens as still, enable the screen timeout, and update the drivers.
