Why does the dxgi error device hung appear while playing games?

keep encountering the dxgi error device hung while playing certain games on my PC. The game suddenly crashes and shows this graphics-related error. I’m not sure if it’s caused by GPU drivers, overheating, or settings. What steps can I take to fix the dxgi error device hung issue permanently?
