Lately, I’ve been getting frequent pop-ups stating that an error reporting tool has encountered a problem. It seems like werfault.exe starts consuming high CPU usage right after a different program crashes, which ends up freezing my entire desktop. I’ve run a system file checker scan, but it didn't find any corrupted files. Is it safe to disable the Windows Error Reporting Service entirely to stop this from happening, or will that cause more stability issues?
