Try these steps: Clean the AirPod gently with a soft, dry cloth. Check the battery of both AirPods and charge if needed. Reconnect them by putting them back in the case, closing the lid, waiting 30 seconds, and reconnecting to your device. Reset your AirPods if the above doesn’t work: press and hold the setup button on the case until the light flashes amber, then white. This usually fixes the issue.

Clean the speaker mesh and charging contacts with a soft, dry brush or cloth. On your device: turn Bluetooth off/on and reconnect. Check audio balance (iPhone: Settings → Accessibility → Audio/Visual → Balance) so sound isn’t shifted to one side. “Forget” the AirPods in Bluetooth settings, then re-pair them. Reset AirPods: put in case, open lid, press & hold the setup button until the LED flashes amber then white, then re-pair. Try the AirPod in another phone/computer if it still fails, it’s likely hardware. If hardware: contact Apple Support or visit an Apple Store/authorized repair the single bud may need service or replacement. If you want, tell me which model (AirPods, AirPods Pro, Max?) and which side (left/right) and I’ll give the exact reset steps for that model.
