Why Netmirror App is not Opening in My Phone?

I just recently installed a new operating system on my phone and the netmirror app will no longer even leave the opening splash screen it force-closes. I have already followed the common troubleshooting procedures such as clearing the cache, wiping the application data and even fresh re-install using the original file, and yet all these attempts do not appear to help. Should this be a compatibility problem with the recent android upgrade, or is some particular patch that I must download in order to make things work again? I use it to travel to my place of work everyday and hence any fast solution or solution would be a life savior.
