Try switching the connection type. If you’re on Wi-Fi, move closer to the router and switch from 5 GHz to 2.4 GHz (or vice versa). Or plug the device into the router with an Ethernet cable just to test. If Hulu works fine wired, it points to a Wi-Fi issue, not Hulu. The 2nd option is to log out...

I've used the Snapchat story viewer from storybox and it works pretty well for this (anonymous). It's just a regular browser tool.

It's usually a playback/licensing problem, rather than something wrong with your device. Just refresh the page / restart the app and everything should work fine.
