Turn off and on your device/ router, clear your Hulu app cache, update or reinstall the Hulu app, and turn-off or turn-on VPN/ proxy. In case the error still does not go, check internet speed (a minimum of 8-16 Mbps to watch HD) or call Hulu.
To fix a Hulu connection error, restart your device and router, check internet stability, update the Hulu app, disable VPN or proxy, clear cache, and confirm account status. If issues persist, reinstall the app or contact Hulu support for assistance.
Try switching the connection type. If you’re on Wi-Fi, move closer to the router and switch from 5 GHz to 2.4 GHz (or vice versa). Or plug the device into the router with an Ethernet cable just to test. If Hulu works fine wired, it points to a Wi-Fi issue, not Hulu.
The 2nd option is to log out of Hulu everywhere, then log back in. On a browser, go to your Hulu account and log out of all devices. Then log in again only on the device you’re testing. This can fix weird token/auth issues that sometimes show up as “connection” errors.
