Can wava ai accurately transcribe audio with heavy accents or background noise?

I’m looking for a reliable tool for my podcast editing workflow and came across wava ai (also known as Wavel). I need something that can handle not just transcription, but also AI dubbing and voice cloning for different languages. Most tools I’ve used struggle when there is significant background noise or multiple people talking over each other. How does this platform hold up in real-world "messy" audio scenarios? I’m also interested in the "AI Screen Recorder" feature does it actually help in creating tutorials automatically, or is it just a basic recording tool with a fancy name? Any feedback on the pricing versus value would be great.

no ai is perfect with heavy noise but wavel is better than most because it has a built-in noise remover you can run before the transcript even starts.

honestly the background noise usually trips it up if it is really loud and you will still have to do some manual cleanup on the accents.

the ai screen recorder is actually pretty cool because it does auto zoom on your mouse movements which makes the tutorials look professional without you having to edit them yourself.

cloning the voice is the best part of the platform it sounds very natural but the pricing is a bit steep if you are just starting out with a small podcast.

if you have multiple people talking at the same time it still struggles to separate the voices perfectly so do not expect magic there.

it is definitely more than a basic recorder because it lets you add ai avatars and custom branding directly to the screen capture which saves a ton of time.

i found that for heavy accents you have to use the custom vocabulary feature so the ai knows the specific names or technical terms you are using.

the dubbing works well for basic languages like spanish or french but it gets a bit hit or miss if you try to use it for more obscure dialects.

you basically pay for the convenience of having everything in one dashboard rather than jumping between five different apps for recording and editing.

just try the free version first because the credits go fast and you want to see if your specific mic setup works well with their noise reduction.
