Can xbox cloud gaming be as good as geforce now?

I’ve been a long-time subscriber to Game Pass, but I’ve recently seen the benchmarks for the Ultimate tier on Nvidia’s side. In terms of latency and stream quality, can xbox cloud gaming be as good as geforce now for competitive play? I’m currently on a 500Mbps fiber connection and I still notice some artifacting on Xbox that I don't see elsewhere. I’d love to hear from people who have used both extensively does the library of Xbox make up for the technical gap, or is the performance difference too big?

Honestly? As someone who’s used both a lot, GeForce Now still wins on raw performance, lower latency and cleaner streams, especially for competitive play. Xbox Cloud Gaming’s library and Game Pass value are awesome, but the artifacting you’re seeing (even on fiber) is real, and for sweaty matches GFN just feels snappier.

Yes — Xbox Cloud Gaming and GeForce Now both offer strong cloud gaming, but they focus on different strengths. Xbox Cloud Gaming provides access to many Xbox Game Pass titles and seamless play across devices, while GeForce Now streams your own PC games with powerful NVIDIA servers. Which is “better” depends on your game library, devices, and preferences.
