Did Donald Trump Actually Sign a NIL Executive Order or Is It Just a Rumor?

I recently saw discussions about a supposed trump nil executive order related to college athletes and NIL rights. I can’t find clear confirmation though. Did this really happen, or is it just speculation online?

guys, chill. i've spent 22 yrs in sports marketing, and i can say that if trumps' supposed order wasn't officially released, it didn't happen. no executive order, no matter how big or small, gets swept under the rug. the gov would've had it plastered all over their site. natalia's right, if it ain't in black and white, it's just a rumor.

I've been following this thread & gotta say, most of you are dead on. 27 yrs experience in sports journalism here, if there was an exec order, it'd be all over the place. I mean, have you seen the noise that comes out of the NCAA? Trump not signing it would've been a big story, believe me.

Dude, looks like we're all on the same page here. 22 yrs in sports marketing (@Leonardo DiCaprio) says it didn't happen if it ain't official. I've been dealing with rumors in sports too (15 yrs exp) - they usually get shut down pretty quick. I'm with Ntal, if it's not in the official gov docs, it's just a rumor.
