Does anyone know the correct answer for the “like a bicycle or a horse” crossword clue?

I’m working on a puzzle and got stuck on the clue like a bicycle or a horse crossword. I’ve seen a couple of possible answers but nothing seems to fit the grid I’m working with. It’s starting to slow down the whole solve.

Hey! I think the answer they’re looking for is “pedal-powered” if it’s a long entry, or sometimes “ridden” depending on your grid. Bicycles are pedaled and horses are ridden, so check how many letters your grid needs.

Lol, I spent 10 minutes thinking about this too. I was like, “Does it mean they both can fall if you’re bad at it?” 😅 Maybe “mounted” works if it fits.

For the crossword clue "like a bicycle or a horse," the answer is RIDABLE (7 letters) or RIDEABLE (8 letters) - both spellings work. The clue refers to things you can ride. Another possibility is TWOWHEELED if it's specifically about bicycles, but RIDABLE is most common for this clue.

The NYT crossword clue “like a bicycle or a horse” most commonly has the answer RIDABLE (7 letters). In puzzles from The New York Times, “ridable” describes anything that can be ridden, such as a bicycle, horse, or similar vehicle.
