Nope! Instagram won’t notify anyone if you screenshot their story.

There is none of the notifications were sent, if you take a screenshot of someone else story or a profile. However, this feature was tested by Instagram in 2018 to notify users of story screenshots, but later on, it was removed. While Instagram notifies users when they take screenshots of disappearing photos or videos in direct messages, stories, posts, and reels. Users can check out the advanced stats or professional tools section if they have a creator or a business account.

No, Instagram does not inform users that you took screenshots of their story, post, or reel. Nevertheless, screenshot alerts were once trialled in 2018 with an aim of detecting the deletion of messages but the feature was pulled out.
