How can I stop videos from automatically playing on Instagram feed?

To stop videos from auto-playing on Instagram, go to Settings > Account > Data Usage and enable “Use Less Data” or turn off “Autoplay Videos” if available.

To stop Instagram videos from auto-playing, open Profile → Menu (☰) → Settings and privacy → Media quality. Turn on “Use less cellular data” and disable “Autoplay on cellular” (if shown). This limits or stops videos from automatically playing while you scroll, especially on mobile data.
